Η καραμπόλα (γνωστή και ως Star fruit) είναι ένα φυτό το οποίο καλλιεργείται στην Ινδονησία, την Ινδία και τη Σρι Λάνκα, όπου είναι αυτοφυές, αλλά και στην Αμερικανική ήπειρο.
