Mizuna (\uff09 \u30ba \u30ca \uff08\u6c34\uff09\uff09, “water vegetables”), kyona, Japanese mustard vegetables, or spider mustard, is a cultivation of the Brassica rapa variety niposinica.<\/p>\n

With a slightly spicy, slightly peppery taste but not as much as e.g. the roka.<\/p>\n

In cooking it is used in potatoes, soups, and Japanese hot dishes. They can also be combined-cooked very nicely with meat.<\/p>\n
